At Genesis we have a history of doing things our own way, whether that’s making bikes we want to ride, or heading in a direction that might seem a little crazy at the time.

We started making gravel bikes years ago, way before they were called gravel bikes. Our Croix de Fer and Datum were designed to do a bit of everything, because that’s what we liked to do.

Sometimes you fancy a ride on the road, sometimes a gravel track, towpath or even a section of singletrack comes along and you want to see where it goes, and when that happens you need a bike that’s going to match your ambition.

There’s no point in venturing off the beaten path if your dreams outstrip your two-wheeled companion.

That’s where our latest range comes in. From the Croix de Fer to the Longitude and everywhere in between, our updated models are all built with adventure in mind.

Here’s a quick look at what’s new on every model…

CROIX DE FER

Our original go anywhere bike. Imagined in 2009 with adventures in mind ever since, the new Croix de Fer is more versatile than ever.

We’ve expanded our offering to include a range-topping Reynolds 853 full build, along with a 40 and a new 20 flatbar.

They join the 10 flatbar, 10, 20, 30 and titanium to make for our most complete Croix de Fer lineup ever.

Every new Croix de Fer now features additional mounts on the frame and fork for the ultimate in versatility, alongside all-new tubeless ready wheel and rim packages.

Shimano’s new GRX groupset also features heavily throughout the range and is the perfect match for our original adventure bike.

If you’re looking at a custom build, our framesets have also been updated and you’ll find extra mounts and the Reynolds 725 model with a thru-axle option.

CDA

The baby brother to our proven Croix de Fer, the CDA shares the same geometry and legendary handling as it’s steel counterpart, but swaps out steel for aluminium and in turn passes a nice cost saving on to you.

The perfect entry into the world of adventure bikes, the fact that it’s compatible with a pannier rack and mudguards also makes it ideal as an everyday commuting workhorse.

The latest CDA features all the same mounts as its bigger brother and to narrow the gap further, we’ve introduced the range-topping 30 model, which features Shimano’s GRX groupset.

FUGIO

We’ve introduced a new, all aluminium Fugio 10 to our latest range. Our most affordable Fugio yet, it loses nothing in ride character to its steel siblings and still gets a full carbon fork, along with all the mounts you’ll need for that after-hours adventure.

VAGABOND

The cult hero of our range, the all new Vagabond has undergone a series of updates to make it even more capable than before.

We’ve uprated the frameset to utilise Reynolds’ benchmark 725 steel which further enhances the ride quality, while modernising the dropouts to bring 12mm thru-axles into the game.

The full bike has gone to a 1X drivetrain, underlining its off-road capabilities, with tubeless-ready wheelset and tyres completing the spec sheet.

LONGITUDE

When your imagination outweighs your common sense, you’ll need to reach for the Longitude – our original go-anywhere, do anything mountain bike.

Designed to reach the summits other tourers simply can’t reach – and then bomb back down – this is a bike built to be fully loaded and taken to the edges of nowhere.

TOUR DE FER

The bike that was built for exploring the world. Or maybe just your little corner of it. Our Tour de Fer has been fully loaded since 2015 and keeps going strong.

Built to carry expedition-ready loads, these bikes are ready for adventure right out of the box with mudguards, racks and heavy-duty wheels featuring throughout.

We’ve also added a new Tour de Fer 10 model in flatbar flavour to provide more options than ever before.

EQUILIBRIUM

There is good reason why the Equilibrium has been a staple in our range for many a year now - the combination of a Reynolds 725 frame, classic looks, full-length mudguard capabilities, sublime ride and handling qualities has made it a true riders' favourite; to many the quintessential four-season UK road bike.

Our classic model features a steel fork for that timeless look, while the Equilibrium Disc is our take on what a modern, all-round road bike can be.

Clearance for 32mm tyres and rack mounts means it’s superbly versatile and can even take on some light touring.

UTILITY RANGE

Our utility range has been totally overhauled and at the heart of it is our CDA frame. Superbly practical, we’ve built it four ways to create the Day One, Brixton, Broadway and Flyer – each model offering something a little different.

The Flyer and the Day One are our drop-bar models, both with very different personalities. The Flyer retains its simplicity as a singlespeed that is perfect for cutting around town, while the Day One is all about adaptability, with its Shimano Nexus hub gear.

The Brixton and Broadway may both feature a swept, flat handlebar and the same wheelset, but that’s where the similarities end.

The Broadway uses a 2x Shimano groupset, ideally suited to all-around riding, while the Brixton sports a Shimano Nexus hub gear, front basket and rear rack for great load carrying capabilities.

Whichever model you choose, every bike in our utility range comes with a 37mm tyre that is comfortable on road and light gravel.
