Road.cc have tested and reviewed our Croix de Fer 20, praising its smooth-riding, well-finished frame and go-anywhere easy-riding attitude.

During his time with the bike, Stu Kerton took on a variety of terrains through a usual British winter, incorporating rain, grit and near hub-deep mud on his way to reaching his verdict on our original adventure bike.

“At its heart the Croix de Fer 20 has a beautiful frameset which is a real joy to ride. It's so easy to live with and delivers on comfort, which makes it a great bike for long-distance rides. It's versatile too, and with a spare set of wheels and slick tyres it'll make for a very capable winter trainer and/or commuter.”

Awarding the build 3.5-stars out of five, Kerton was complimentary about the Genesis finishing kit, as well as the durability of the wheelset and range of Shimano’s GRX gearing. You can read the complete review, here.
