I met Richard and his girlfriend at the London Bike Show, they came over and told me they had just bought two Croix de Fers the week previous and were super excited to be picking them up from their dealer in ther days after the show.

It's funny, everyone remembers being a kid and the simple joy and excitiement of getting a shiny new bike, well it's good to know that it can be just as excting when you're all grown up. I love the fact that something as simple as a bicycle can give people so much pleasure and happiness. Bikes are about freedom and in the case of the Croix de fer the potential to go off and explore the world we live in.

To Richard and his girlfriend Id like to say the following: "Thanks for choosing Genesis guys! Seeing people smiling on our bikes makes the whole job worthwhile. I hope your bikes lead you to distant lands one day".

Hi Dominic,

 My name's Richard, we met at the bike show (i'm sure you spoke to quite a few folk!). My girlfriend and I were ogling the Croix De Fers you had on show as we'd just ordered ourselves one each! On the Monday after the show we returned to Edinburgh and picked them up. Since then we've been out on them lots and we're loving them. Previous to our new Croix De Fers we just had mountain bikes and we're loving the new experiences the genesis' are offering us. we've covered a fair few miles on the road but the best bit is turning off down a forrest path and taking some exhilarating and scenic shortcuts. Looking to the summer we've already booked two weeks off to try our first bit of touring on them. 

 You mentioned sending in photos so i've included a few, but most of all, thanks for making awesome bikes!
