Genesis Expeditions

Genesis Bikes don't have a team as such; we prefer to support riders who share our belief that adventures on a bike can inspire the greatest experiences and provide the toughest challenges.

We also have dedicated staff who all ride bikes and all understand that cycling in its purest form is about freedom and escape and noticing the world that's going on around you.

This year Genesis riders have taken our bikes from Alaska to Mexico, to the Himalayas, around the coast of Iceland and far beyond.

In 2011 we were also proud to headline sponsor the Genesis Yak Attack, which is the highest and most brutal mountain bike race on earth.

Here is a summary of what are riders have achieved this year:

Montane Icemen - Croix de Fer - August 2011

14 days, 366 hours of daylight, 1600 miles, 2 continents and 1 massive volcano.

Pete Sissons and Paul Cosgrove rode the entire 1600 mile coastal road network of Iceland on a pair of Croix de Fers, averaging 114 miles each day.
