A Reynolds 520 frame with a Cr-Mo fork – simple on the surface and detailed below it. Strong Cr-Mo tubes are double-butted and TIG welded to within a fifth of a degree accuracy. Slim 16mm seat stays reduce trail feedback and the same chainstays as our mountain bikes mean you can crank as hard as you need to on the single gear to get the Day One over the crest of a hill. A small down tube to head tube gusset adds to its ability to handle off-road use. cable guides sit on top of the top tube to make hike-a-bike sections more comfortable and the track ends have built-in tensioners to make wheel positioning a simple job.
