Very much a case of "if it ain't broke...". The Day One 11 returns unchanged for this year, after being one of our most successful models in 2012. A bike inspired and born out of Vin Cox’s round the world record. A classy pairing of a lightweight Reynolds 853 frameset and Shimano Alfine 11sp drivetrain - all day comfort and reliability mile after mile after mile.

Versa shifters have allowed us to use an 11 speed Alfine hub with drop bars for all-day efficiency.

Without dount one of the prettiest, but also one of the most versatile bikes in our range. Perfectly suited to anything from a daily commute to a few months getting lost in Europe and exploring the beautiful world around us.

A combination of features inspired by Vin Cox’s ‘Great Bike Ride’ - a fast-and-light round-the-world record ride on a Shimano Alfine hub-equipped Croix De Fer - the Day One Alfine 11 has both braking and 11-speed gearing tucked well out of the way of the elements.

Reynolds 853 frame

Reynolds 853 is known the world over, famed for it's winning combination of low weight and high-strength. Unlike other steels, 853 is also air-hardening, meaning that as the area around the weld cools, it actually gets stronger. We have used a special 853 DZB (double zonal butted) downtube to add Cyclocross strength without adding weight (clean, gusset-free design).

Rack & Mudguard Ready

Large clearances and eyelets for full-length mudguards and front and rear racks mean the Day One morphs quickly and effortlessly into an all-weather load carrier. Tour and expedition ready!

Avid BB7's

There's good reason Avid BB7's are widely regarded as the best mechanical disc brakes on currently on the market - lightweight, ample stopping power and plenty of adjustability for ease of setup and maintenance.

Shimano Alfine 11

The 11sp version of Shimano's excellent Alfine hub offer increased gear range and oil-bath internals for extended service intervals. Go further for longer basically.
