We think the gloss black 2013 Shimano Sora groupset (with fully-integrated shifter unit) combined with the Cyan blue slim steel frame looks stunning and is a vastly improved look. One of the very best looking bikes in the whole range.
The Reynolds 520 frame has a small weight penalty over the 725 offering on the Croix de Fer, but it still gives the same comfortable and lively ride quality that only steel can provide. Steel is repairable which makes the bike a great option for long distance touring.
Large clearances and eyelets for full-length mudguards and front and rear racks mean the CdF morphs quickly and effortlessly into an all-weather load carrier. Tour and expedition ready!
The new incarnation of Shimano's Sora 9sp groupset features a fully-integrated shifter unit. No more annoyingly postioned downshift paddle on the inside of the lever body.
